House of Sunny has a rare job opening for a new Sales Assistant to join their retail team.

They are looking for a candidate with great communication and sale skills, fashion knowledge, trend awareness and good initiative to complete the retail team. This role is for Saturdays and Sundays and will be based in Hackney.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Ensure all customers are welcomed, offering them a personalised and emotional experience. Develop customer loyalty, improve the client portfolio of the store by hosting shopping appointments. Handle transactions and stock, implement visual merchandising guidelines. Keep the stock room organized. Manage the Depop account aiming to up sale daily. Pick, package, and process Depop sales. All efforts are executed to the highest standard possible to achieve immediate and long-term business goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Welcoming and helping all customers that come into the store
  • Assisting customers with the aim to convert and up sale

  • Processing sales and handling stock
  • Updating Depop with new products daily with the aim to convert
  • Creating weekly and monthly Depop reports and updating retail team
  • Keeping the stock room and store tidy
  • Hosting sale appointments with the aim to convert 
  • Produce high quality café drinks for customers

With a strong focus on craft, we are driven to create timeless designs by portraying an aesthetic that is uniquely our own. A rare opening within our design team has opened up and we are looking for a designer to join our team.

This candidate needs to have strong graphic design skills, a keen interests in trends and design and have great communication skills.

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work alongside the Creative Director and the Head of Design to assist in the conception and execution of the House of Sunny collections.


Execute strong trend, theme, colour and print research under the design teams briefing.

Assist in gathering internal sales reports in order to show conviction in designs.

Create inspiring research led design boards to present to the Creative Director and the Head of Design for weekly sign off.

Ensure pricing, sales data trend analysis, fabrication and the product's purpose is thought through.

Execute strong technical sketches of garments, prints and details to present to the design team.

Keep up to date with the design critical path, ensuring all deadlines are met.

Complete technical sketches and packs of final designs for factory use. Create well-thought out, precise designs in order to ensure correct first samples.

Support the Head of Design with technical packs and design development.

Attend fittings and update all design and development related information, sketches, technical packs, and sample timelines.

Perform quality control of sales samples. Ensure all samples are perfect for showroom presentations. Create sample amendment packs when necessary.

Oversee the design departments organisation, including sample tracking, fabric and trim sourcing.

Maintain and organise the fabric and trim library. Request new and innovative sourcing.

Work alongside the production and sales team to ensure designs are commercially minded, within the HOS style, whilst considering the customer, pricing and quality.

Email/WeChat/WhatsApp correspondence with all factories for developments in work ensuring deadlines are being met, and factories have all materials and information needed to complete samples accurately.

Arrange, track and receive overseas packages. Alert the design team of the status of when packages are expected to deliver.

Update, track and budget the shipping spending on samples.

Create and update line-sheets on Zedonk.

Research and manage new sustainable sourcing and practices.

Manage the jersey range, alongside jersey graphics. Sign off with the design team.

Aid in all price negotiations.

Aid the Creative Director and the Head of Design in accessory loans for look-book shoots.

Aid in the management of all collaborations.

This position will play an integral role in selling and managing wholesale accounts each season. Working with the Senior Wholesale Manager, this candidate will be expected to assist face to face buying appointments each season, these can take place internationally - traditionally in London, New York and Paris. This candidate needs to have strong communication skills, connecting to clients on the phone daily and weekly meetings keeping all communications on-brand.Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling seasonal buying appointments with new and current retail partners
  • Prepping seasonal sales materials
  • Requesting sale through reports from current retailers to help understand their buys and what styles work best for each retailer.
  • Checking in with retails to nurture existing accounts in season
  • Sending out line sheets in season to help gain extra sales weekly.
  • Sending out marketing materials via newsletters weekly. Locating new retail partners in targeted territories
  • Showcasing seasonal collections to new targeted retail partners with the aim to gain them and a new stockist
  • Processing and checking invoicing Data analysis and weekly reporting to monitor best sellers, worst sellers and sales patterns in each territory.
  • In store training with Key Accounts to inform store staff about selling points of the products and set our visual mechanise standards

This individual will be working closely with the Senior Wholesale Manger and reporting directly to the Managing Director and Creative Director/Founder.
